US fans absolutely fell in love with Haaland’s goofy off-field personality combined with his goal-scoring acumen during the World Cup.
Additionally, many believe Haaland would have been a perfect NBA/NFL athlete had he been born in the US and Philadelphia 76ers star Jaylen Brown became the most recent endorser of that narrative.

Haaland stands at about 6’5″, which makes him a perfect player for the NBA. Keeping that in mind, Brown explained how it would have been ‘crazy’ to see Haaland play basketball during a recent livestream.

Brown’s brother then claimed if the best NBA players in the US trained to play soccer from an early age, the USMNT would easily win the FIFA World Cup.
In fact, JB’s brother took things up a notch and mentioned the USMNT would win every FIFA World Cup if they can convince the best athletes in the country to take up soccer.
As expected, the 76ers star was shocked to hear that, but he didn’t really hit back at his brother’s insane comment. But he did say he’s ‘delusional’ so fans do not rip him apart in the comments section.
