Reports in Italy claim that the final details of Djed Spence’s contract with Inter have been finalised and that the England international has already made a decision on a squad number for the 2026-27 season.
Spence wages and Inter squad number revealed
Inter have wrapped up a deal to sign right-back Spence on a permanent transfer from Tottenham according to reports from various outlets on Wednesday evening. He arrives as the long-term replacement for Denzel Dumfries, who left the club after five years to join Real Madrid earlier this summer.
Spence will cost the Nerazzurri a total package of €35m, believed to be €31.5m in guaranteed fees and the rest in bonuses.
According to the latest updates from FCInternews, Spence will sign a five-year contract in San Siro with wages reported to be worth around €2.6m per season plus bonuses to take the figure closer to the €3m mark.
Spence will reportedly wear the no. 24 shirt during his first season back in Serie A, the same number that he wore for Tottenham last season. Christian Eriksen also donned the 24 shirt in Milan after joining the Nerazzurri from Tottenham in 2020.
